Happy New Year!

Hi Everyone! This is Tiffany, and this month we are launching our first newsletter here at My Sister's Kitchen so that we can share some insight into us and our store.

First off, I want to say that I am not a writer. I am more of a talker. And, as I was contemplating this little blurb and what I wanted to say, I was all hung up on how it was going to sound and what should be in the body and the salutation was freaking me out, and how do you end succinctly? So, if you are an English major or a grammar fanatic, I'm sorry. This is going to be an exercise in patience for you, because I am going to write like I talk.

That said, we here at My Sister's Kitchen want to tell you how much we appreciate all of the kindness, encouragement and support that we have received from you the customer and the community! THANK YOU!

Now for a little history. If you haven't been in or haven't met Andrea and I, we are sisters-in-law. We named
the store My Sister's Kitchen because we didn't think My Sister-in-Law's Kitchen had that same warm, homey feel. Yes, we do like each other and we do get along.. I know, surprising isn't it? But, we do. We started this crazy adventure a year ago. And, here we are....living the dream. We opened our doors on Sept. 13th and haven't had time to look back! It has been a whirlwind for us, and we are having the best time.

With the holiday season over, and as we go forward into 2009, we are looking to bring a few more lines into our inventory. Tea being a big one. If you have comments or suggestions please let us know. We are working on that line as I type. Or if you have any thoughts on other things you'd like to see here at My Sister's Kitchen please let us know, we love to hear your suggestions.

Oth
er things we are ramping up are the Cooking Classes,Bridal Registry (yes, we have it... get in here brides!!), and Private Parties. We have had quite a few private parties now and they are a great time! Great food and good friends are an instant recipe for fun! Where else can you learn to cook something new, eat and then leave the mess? (maybe your mom's... but, of course that might strain the relationship!) Heck, bring Mom in and take a class with her!

Ok, so now it's the end, and that really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I survived, and hopefully you
gained a little insight into My Sister's Kitchen.

Please keep us in mind for all of your cooking/baking needs!

Come in and see us soon!

Tiffany
